Quickly making changes to the registration data of civil society organizations and ensuring flexibility in their work provides more opportunities and saves significant resources, including time, for organizing their activities.

During the event, a new service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and its main benefits for the civil society sector will be presented. Speakers will explain what a model charter is, present cases of how it already works in Ukraine, and share technical details of the transition.
The event is aimed at heads and lawyers of civil society organizations, as well as activists.
A model charter guarantees that an organization remains up to date without the need for constant alignment with changes to the Civil Code, the Tax Code, and other legislation.

15 Years of the Open Government Partnership

OGP Logo

Fifteen years ago, OGP launched with a simple but radical premise: that government should serve the people, not the other way around. Over fifteen years, OGP has become the foremost global forum for advancing transparency, accountability, and public participation in government.

In an era of democratic regression and geopolitical fragmentation, platforms that sustain targeted collaborations among likeminded states and between governments and civil society are strategically vital. OGP is one of the few to endure.

The next phase requires action across the partnership: Governments forming cross-border coalitions to address common priorities; political leaders integrating openness into core national agendas; donors and funders sustaining investment and enabling scale; civil society continuing to propose, push, monitor, and demand.

The question ahead is scale and commitment.
