In 2021, Open Gov Week was centered around the new phase of OGP’s Open Response + Open Recovery campaign.
Open Renewal coincides with OGP’s 10th anniversary and was intended to renew the spirit, optimism and energy that first launched OGP and to put it to use to address the challenges of today, including advancing accountability and transparency, tackling systemic inequalities, protecting civic space, and enhancing citizen participation.
100 + OGP action plans are being co-created this year, and we all have an opportunity to explore bold, ambitious reforms.

Open Gov Week is designed for anyone who believes citizens should play a role in shaping the policies that affect their lives.
It features seminars, hackathons, public debates, webinars, open dataset releases and other events planned by citizens, civil society and governments.
