Strengthening the Localization of PH-OGP through Collaborative, Participatory, and Innovative Local Governance Approaches
“The Open Government Week 2026 Celebration serves as a regional platform for promoting transparency, accountability, innovation, and meaningful citizen participation in governance in line with the principles of the Philippine Open Government Partnership (PH-OGP). Anchored on the regional theme, “Strengthening the Localization of PH-OGP through Collaborative, Participatory, and Innovative Local Governance Approaches,” the activity highlights the best practices, innovations, experiences, and flagship programs of participating Local Government Units (LGUs) in advancing open governance initiatives at the local level.
The activity also fosters collaboration among government agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), people’s organizations, and other stakeholders through knowledge-sharing, policy discussions, and the exchange of innovative governance approaches that strengthen participatory, transparent, and accountable local governance in the Caraga Region.”
For one week in May, come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.
