The City Government of Ligao will undertake the Online Launch and Release of the CBMS Open Data Portal as part of its commitment to transparency, evidence-based planning, and citizen participation. This initiative will formally open access to the city’s Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) datasets, covering poverty incidence, employment, health, education, housing, and other socio-economic indicators. The online launch will feature a presentation of the datasets, a demonstration of the portal’s dashboards and downloadable features, and sectoral dialogues with women, urban poor, farmers, fisherfolk, youth, and other stakeholders on how CBMS data can inform local projects and decision-making.

The question ahead is scale and commitment.
