Education in Emergencies: Bridging Gaps to Ensure Learning Continuity
The event is designed to provide participants an orientation of Education in Emergencies (EiE) as defined by INEE, identify key challenges of EiE in the Philippines, and draft an EiE advocacy plan that can be presented to the Department of Education (DepEd). In particular, discussions will be around fragmented budgeting, inadequate data and implementation gaps, and learning loss mitigation during emergencies. We will highlight the need for a more coordinated and harmonized emergency response for Filipino learners.
For one week in May, come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.
