The following systems will be presented prior to their official launching:
a. Campus-Based and PWD-inclusive attendance monitoring and payroll system
b. Recruitment and selection Information system
c. SUNNSIGN: Document signing and Tracking system
d. UniProcure: Procurement management and monitoring system (PMMS)
e. SUNNELECT: University Automated Election System
2. Healthy Hearts, Healthy Lives: A Hypertension Awareness Drive
This is an initiative to be initiated by the Clinic Head Nurse that promotes citizen participation and accountability in public health by raising awareness about hypertension and its prevention. Through this drive, it empowers individuals to make informed lifestyle choices, supports transparency in health information, and strengthens collaboration between the institution, and the citizens/stakeholders. By addressing a critical health issue, it highlights how open governance can improve well-being, build trust, and foster healthier, and more resilient SUNN communities.
3. Preparedness in Action: Building Safer, Resilient Communities Awareness Drive
This disaster preparedness drive reflects the values of Open Government Week by promoting transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in risk reduction. Through this awareness campaign it empowers communities to understand hazards, prepare for emergencies, and build resilience together. This will be done on Thursday, May 21, 2026
For one week in May, come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and commit to new levels of citizen participation in government.
